The quartet was formed at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama and is Resident Ensemble at the Escuela Superior de Musica Reina Sofia in Madrid and at the Royal Welsh College of Music and Drama in Cardiff. Recent engagements include concerts at the North Norfolk Music Festival\, the Bath Festival\, St Jude’s Festival and at the Buxton International Festival. \nThe Hospital of St Cross\nHenry of Blois\, Bishop of Winchester\, founded the Hospital of St Cross between 1132 and 1136\, and the principal activity of the Hospital continues to be the provision of individual\, private apartments for a living community of about twenty-five elderly men. Kirker has supported the Hospital for a number of years\, contributing to the costs of maintaining the Grade I listed buildings\, including the Norman church and beautiful walled garden.

At The Hospital of St Cross our beautiful gardens offer special tranquillity and peace\, nestled into our Water meadows\, with St Catherine’s Iron Age hillfort as our backdrop. Our gardens are surrounded by ancient flint and brick wall that encompasses our medieval heritage site; which place the trees and plants into a dreamy architectural setting. Please come along for a hopefully sunny afternoon and enjoy our Hundred Men’s Hall Tearooms delicious offerings to refresh your journey. Parking will be available in our meadows –  Please head down the driveway and parking will be directed into our Water Meadows. \n
