English Choral Workshop in Chapel & Brethren’s Hall

Benjamin Britten’s wonderful realisation of WH Auden’s great poem about St. Cecilia is the focus for our weekend in the beautiful almshouse of St. Cross, Winchester with extraordinary, cathedral-like chapel, together with music by Purcell, Britten’s constant inspiration, and Boyce and Walton.

Please note that singers will be expected to have thoroughly prepared the music before the weekend.
