Volunteer Vacancies
Here at The Hospital of St Cross and Almshouse of Noble Poverty we are privileged to work with a dedicated, kind, flexible and outstanding team of volunteers. Our volunteers mainly live and work within our parish, and surrounding areas, or, have come in through friends, through word of mouth, or, just have a general passion and interest to be part of our unique and beautiful site.
We are always looking to expand our pool of volunteers, and would welcome any enquires about what may be needed to help run our nearly 900 year old Charitable Foundation.
Currently, we are looking for extra help in the Hundred Men’s Hall Tea Rooms for 2 hour shifts, between April and October 2025.
We are also looking for volunteers to help with extra events during the day, or in the evening; as well as volunteers who could provide extra support on an adhoc basis.
We would love to here from any applicants and would welcome all enquiries.
All volunteers, due to our updated Safeguarding policy: will now be required to undergo very basic safeguarding training and be willing to adhere to our volunteer DBS checks.
The Hospital of St Cross is a committed to Equality and Diversity in it’s recruitment.
